REACTIVITY REHAB | 3-week behaviour programme for reactive dogs
READY TO STOP LETTING REACTIVITY RUN THE SHOW?
Welcome to the first step towards a life where your dog's reactivity doesn't get to make every decision for you.
I've been there. The confusing advice. The trainers who leave you stuck in management. The guilt, frustration and constant feeling that you're doing something wrong.

Your dog isn't broken. But something needs to change.
Living with a reactive dog can mean constantly scanning the environment, changing your route, crossing the street, avoiding busy places, apologising to strangers and wondering whether today will be the day everything goes to hell.
And honestly? It gets exhausting.
Reactivity can come from fear, frustration, over-arousal, genetics, learning history, lack of skills — or a messy combination of all of the above.
That's why this isn't another generic list of exercises.
I've worked with a whole lotta dogs, and I have a particular soft spot for the spicy ones. We'll look at your dog, your life and what actually needs to change.
No cookie-cutter reactivity plan.
You deserve to understand what we're doing, why we're doing it and how it's supposed to help.
No guru nonsense. No making you feel like a terrible owner. No one-size-fits-all ideology.
My approach is science-informed, practical and individualised. I'll explain the tools and methods I recommend, and we'll build a plan around your dog's:
triggers and patterns
history and environment
current skills
individual needs
We'll work on:
understanding what drives the reactions
recognising escalation before things blow up
better engagement and communication
disengaging and moving on
neutrality around triggers
appropriate structure, boundaries and freedom
your handling, timing and decision-making
real-life situations — because that's where it actually matters
A trainer you can trust.
Dog training is full of big claims, loud opinions and people telling you there's only one right way.
I don't believe in that.
You should know and understand what we are doing with your dog and why. And the goal isn't to keep you dependent on a trainer forever.
It's to give you the understanding and practical skills to confidently handle your dog in everyday life.
I built Reactivity Rehab because walks should not feel like a battle. By the end of our three weeks together, walking your dog becomes something you actually look forward to. No stress. No holding your breath. No crossing the street at the sight of another dog. Because lasting change happens when both you and your dog know exactly what to do.
We're not trying to bubble-wrap your dog.
Management and avoidance have their place. Sometimes you need distance. Sometimes you need to leave. But avoiding every difficult situation forever isn't the same as teaching a dog how to cope with life. Dogs need to learn what they can ignore, when they can disengage, what is expected of them and how to recover when something gets difficult.
Clear communication, appropriate boundaries and structure can create more freedom — not less.
What we're actually working towards
Not a robot. Not a dog who never has feelings. And definitely not a magical cure where your dog suddenly loves every dog, person and bicycle on the planet.
We're working towards a dog who has more options when something difficult happens — and a human who knows what to do when it does.
More freedom in everyday life
Better communication between you and your dog
More confidence in your handling
Less chaos around triggers
Better recovery
More real-life experiences you can actually enjoy together
This isn't about blaming you.
Reactive dogs can make people feel embarrassed, frustrated, overwhelmed and guilty. You can love your dog deeply and still find life with them bloody hard sometimes.
I've been there. You don't need another trainer making you feel worse. You need someone who can look at the whole picture, explain what's happening, give you a clear plan and help you actually use it.
Is this for you?
This is for you if reactivity is starting to dictate your life — or if you're simply done guessing what to do next.
Your dog:
barks, lunges, explodes or freezes around triggers
struggles to disengage
makes walks stressful or unpredictable
requires constant environmental management
has advice that works on paper but falls apart in real life
And you:
want practical skills, not just more information
are ready to make changes
are willing to practise between sessions
understand magic fixes aren't a thing
Six training days. A proven protocol that actually works.
The programme is deliberately short and intensive. We're not going to stretch the same problem over six months just because we can. Who would benefit from that anyway? Not the dog who's struggling, I will tell you that.
You'll get individual planning, six structured training days, practical homework, feedback and adjustments throughout the programme, plus a progress review and clear next steps.
And for those who cannot take the week off, the 3-weekend option is a valuable alternative which also offers long-lasting results.
What's included
Individual assessment and programme planning
Six structured training days (+2)
Real-life practical training
Personalised homework between sessions
Ongoing feedback and adjustments
Progress documentation and review
A clear plan for continuing the work after the programme
A complimentary weekend of training and re-socialization for the dogs and owners who may need it

Because every reactive dog is different, I don't automatically put everyone through the same programme.
Start with the application form. I'll review your answers and get back to you within 1 business day. If it looks like the right fit, we'll arrange a short 20–30 minute assessment call to talk through your dog, your challenges and your goals.
It's not a test. It's simply a chance to make sure we're the right fit for each other.
A concentrated week of training for owners who want to immerse themselves in the process and work intensively on their dog's skills. This is the formula that works best for spicy dogs and their owners — a concentrated version of new good habits and repeated success. Your dog's nervous system will thank you.
